THE DISCOVERY OF THE NOTHERN NICARAGUA

What started as a surf trip through Central America became something much deeper.

Four years ago, Ryan discovered the north of Nicaragua and instantly fell in love with its raw beauty, waves, and simple way of life. That feeling stayed with him long after the trip ended.

Eventually, he convinced his family to take a leap of faith, slow down, and buy a house here.

That journey is what gave birth to Echoes Surf Casitas, a place shaped by nature, community, and the ocean.

A 42 KM LONG VIRGEN BEACH

Between the largest estuary in Central America and the northernmost point of Nicaragua’s Pacific coast lies 42 kilometers of untouched shoreline.

Here, it’s just the ocean, endless beaches, and a few local communities living in rhythm with the tides. No crowds, no resorts — only raw nature.

Surf spots are scattered all along the coast, offering waves for every level, shaped by sandbars, river mouths, and changing swells.

A place where the land meets the sea, and where surfing still feels simple, wild, and free.
